Colonization of Mars, explores humanity’s potential future beyond Earth, focusing on how life and civilization might take shape on the Red Planet.
Through research and conceptual exploration, it envisions the journey of colonizing Mars from survival and adaptation to the formation of a new social and architectural order. The project combines speculative design with scientific reasoning, culminating in a detailed concept design and final hand-drawn render that visualize what everyday life on a colonized Mars could look like.
BEATBOARD
I began the project by creating a compact A2-sized beatboard that outlined the initial concept. It captured the core ideas, visual direction, and key research points, serving as a quick reference and foundation for developing the larger concept and final render.
