HOSTEL SURVIVAL

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Purpose: Hostel Briefiing | Duration: 1 Weeks (2025) | Software: Figma

This project reimagined the hostel rulebook, something every student knows exists but rarely ever takes seriously. Instead of a dull list of do’s and don’ts, it became a raw, unapologetic reflection of hostel life, messy, loud, rebellious, and real.

The idea was to turn a set of rigid rules into something that felt lived-in, something that spoke the same language as the people breaking and bending those rules every day. It wasn’t just about redesigning a document, but about capturing the chaos, camaraderie, and unfiltered spirit that actually defines hostel living.

DELIVERABLES

The final deliverable is an interactive website that mirrors the raw, chaotic energy of hostel life with sections like safe havens, live chat, testimonials, mess menu and announcements. It acts as both a parody of the rulebook and a digital reflection of rebellion. Below lies the prototype and the 3D model of the hostel, housed within the Safe Havens folder.

DELIVERABLES

I also created a short animation showcasing the 3D hostel model, capturing its corridors, rooms, and secret spaces in motion. The animation helps bring the environment to life, offering a glimpse into the atmosphere and layout of the hostel beyond static visuals.
